How PMS contributes to AMR containment
- Allows medicine shops to track the sales volume of every medicine sold with or without prescription.
- Indicates whether antibiotics have been sold without a prescription and provides details about the specific antibiotics sold.
- Allows disaggregation of antibiotics sales according to the World Health Organization’s AWaRe (Access, Watch, Reserve) classification.
- Flags expired medicines to assist staff in promptly removing them from inventory, ensuring compliance with safety standards and reducing the risk of dispensing unsafe products and their timely disposal.
