BHB to assess adherence to good pharmacy practice by the model pharmacies/ model medicine shops

An experienced researcher will soon begin BHB’s study to assess dispensers’ adherence to good pharmacy practice (GPP) at accredited model pharmacies and model medicine shops. The study will investigate dispensers’ knowledge, attitudes, and practice in 32 districts where BHB and DGDA rolled out accreditation. The study will also look at dispensers’ views of the usefulness, opportunities, and challenges in the use of new pharmacy management software, automated drug licensing and renewal system, and digitalization of the Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh that BHB helped develop and support. The study findings will shed light on needs for improvement in GPP or any of the three software systems.
