The tenure of BHB project of MSH has been extended till December 2024. An amendment memo has been signed on this matter between FCDO and MSH. The team lead of Human Capital of FCDO Ms. Fahmida Shabnam and Senior Contract Officer of MSH Ms. Alexandra Da Silva signed the memo on 11 December 2022 and 12 December 2022 respectively on behalf of their respective organizations. As per the previous contract agreement the tenure of the BHB project was till 31 December 2022. BHB principally provides technical assistance to the 4th Health, Population and Nutrition Sector Program of the MOHFW of the Government of Bangladesh. Besides it provides technical assistance to the Model Medicine Shops initiative of the Directorate General of Drug Administration. BHB is also providing technical assistance to develop the Management Information System of the newly formed Directorate General of Medical Education. Under the extension project, BHB will continue the existing activities and will provide more focus to capacity building of the government partners. Beside it will provide technical assistance in the design process of the forthcoming 5th health sector program of the MOHFW.
