Top authority of the DGDA taking the lead to promote the adoption of ADLRS Excellence

The DGDA’s top authorities, including the Director General and other senior officials, are actively promoting the adoption of the Automated Drug Licensing and Renewal System (ADLRS). The BHB, with financial support from the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) of the British Government, developed ADLRS for the DGDA to help automate the issuance of drug licenses to retail medicine shops and track the expiry of existing drug licenses. The DGDA endorsed the ADLRS as the only system for this purpose. In May and June 2024, three training events were held in Savar, Khulna, and Chattogram to enhance the skills and adoption of ADLRS among DGDA officials. To reinforce the importance of ADLRS in managing medical product regulation and quality, these training events were graced by the top officials of the DGDA.

All training sessions were conducted by BHB and featured interactive and practical demonstrations of the ADLRS, resulting in a highly engaging and productive experience for participants.
