The AMR awareness campaign during this time included an appealing poster on the dangers of antibiotic overuse and the need for more responsible use.

Online discussion on infection prevention and control to create AMR awareness

BHB also hosted an insightful online discussion on the health challenges of infection prevention and control. Professor Dr. Akram Hossain, Chair, IPC Alliance Bangladesh, was the key speaker and Dr. Abu Sayem, a former senior technical adviser of MTaPS, Bangladesh, was the moderator.

In the second half of August 2024, a monsoon flash food hit the eastern part of the country. BHB responded by producing stickers to raise awareness of flood victims on how to protect themselves from possible flood-related diseases and infections, contaminated food and water, proper sanitation, snakebite, drowning, etc.
