BHB helped the DGDA to develop the Automated Drug Licensing and Renewal System (ADLRS) to digitalize the DGDA’s manual drug licensing system. Based on user experience, BHB is enhancing the software. Because this online system is convenient, medicine shop owners are increasingly using it to submit application for drug licenses. By the end of August 2023, DGDA had received 1,390 new drug license applications through ADLRS and made decisions on 499 applications and issued those licenses—all through the online system. Other applications are in different stages of the process.
