The Institute of Health Economics at the University of Dhaka is organizing the International Health Economic Conference 2023 in Dhaka from 12 to 13 September 2023. The event will be held at the Senate Auditorium, Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban on the university campus. BHB’s donor, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), as one of the conference’s technical partners, asked BHB to support the Institute for the event including helping with logistics. The event is two days long, and eminent representatives from different countries will join. The program’s 10 sessions will generate discussion on country experiences toward achieving universal health coverage (UHC); health care financing to achieve UHC; social insurance; emerging diseases; community-based health care; digital health ecosystem; global experience in health; health sector reform; accelerating progress towards UHC; primary health care; and primary health care for urban areas. Participants will also discuss cross-cutting issues.
